    Description

      Issue Summary

This is the same issue to CONFSERVER-34087.
Since this problem still happens in current version, raise this ticket as future tracking.

This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes)

      – below is basically copied from CONFSERVER-34087
When following the steps below, Confluence will triplicate (multiply by three) the Panel macro by adding two new blank Panel macros (one on top, one on bottom).

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create new confluence page
      2. Input some words into page body
      3. Select the above words, and hit Bold button (or CTRL+B)
      4. Select the above words, add insert Panel macro(or Tips macro) - leave default settings, see img1.png
      5. Hit Bold button (or CTRL+B) again to unbold

      Expected Results

The word inside the expand macro will be unbold and the excessive panel macros should not be displayed.

      Actual Results

There will be copy of the Panel below and above the original, but without any content (see img2.png).

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior.
